MY CAREER

Hi, I'm Erin. I'm a brand and marketing designer based in the Milwaukee area. For nine and a half years, I was the only in-house creative at Alegeus, a B2B SaaS healthcare fintech that helps health plans, banks, third-party administrators, and employers run benefit account programs for millions of people. The company grew from 200 employees to over 900 during my time there, and I was the only designer on the team the whole way.

Along the way, I led the in-house visual side of a complete company rebrand (in partnership with the agency Simple Truth and our internal marketing leadership), designed and managed a 500+ asset client marketing system that let clients produce marketing in their own brand, ran the creative for annual Partner Summit events with 300+ attendees, and built the company's first centralized creative intake and project workflow in Wrike. The work touched every part of the business: marketing, sales, product, HR and employer branding, executive and internal comms, customer success and client enablement, and operations, legal, and compliance. And it reached real people through our clients' brands: employers, HR teams, and brokers on the B2B side, and the employees and account holders who used the accounts day to day on the B2C side.


MY PATH HERE

Before Alegeus, I came up on the agency account side at Bader Rutter and GMR Marketing, managing client relationships, writing briefs, and learning how creative actually serves the business. That experience still shapes how I work today. Between the agency years and going in-house, I took two years to serve in the U.S. Peace Corps in Armenia, consulting for a women's resource center on business development and marketing for local entrepreneurs. It was the best detour I've ever taken.


WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

I'm looking for my next creative role, something that lets me keep doing what I love: building brand systems, shipping marketing design, and helping creative show up everywhere it needs to across a business. My experience is anchored in B2B, but a lot of my work has reached B2C audiences too, and I'm open to both. I also take on the occasional freelance or consulting project. I work best with teams who care as much about craft as they do about business outcomes, and who like to have fun while figuring things out.

I've handled intake, vendor management, prioritization, agency partnerships, and the work of keeping executive stakeholders aligned.

I came up on the account side, so I know what good briefs look like and how to keep work on strategy.

I scaled a creative function, with minimal budget, through 4.5x company growth without letting it turn into chaos.


OFF THE CLOCK

Off the clock, I'm usually hanging out with my husband, our two boys, and our dog Lester. We love checking out museums and parks all around the Milwaukee area.
